The SVA Club Volleyball Team had a very succesful season in 2022. We are currently ranked 16th in the Chesapeake Region (DE, MD, DC, and VA) among 100 registered USA Volleyball Association teams. Our 17s team has won many medals in last volleyball season.

The head coach Katie Forsythe has joined our club before summer 2022. She has been coaching different level of players in our club. She has been a starting player at Loyola College Maryland, a Division 1 volleyball team. She received full scholarship to play on the team and has earned many individual player awards during her college career. In 2020, she was invited to try out for the 2020 USA National Women's Volleyball Team.  She has played libero, setter, and outside hitter in the past. She has experience coaching players across all level, including elite levels.  She will use different teaching methods according to the different volleyball foundation of the students.

The assistant coach Cecylia Guye is also from Loyola Maryland's Division 1 volleyball team, where she has been a starting Middle Blocker. She has led the team in many wins and receieved numerous awards during her volleyball career. She has also has ample experience coaching and mentoring volleyball players across all levels.
